Did you know that even ancient civilisations like the Mayans and Aztecs appreciated avocados for their richness? Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, magnesium, potassium and fluoran make this fruit a real powerfood – and the unsaturated fatty acids it contains make it a healthy substitute for butter too.
Step 1: Cut the avocado open. Scoop out the flesh and place it in a deep bowl.
Step 2: Wash the tomatoes and coriander. Peel the onion and garlic and chop them roughly.
Step 3: Tear the coriander into small parts. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
Step 4: Wash the chilli pepper and chop it roughly. Make sure you don’t touch your face with your fingers after chopping up the chilli.
Step 5: Set the stickblender to ’5’ and 30 seconds. Switch it on and blend all ingredients to a smooth mixture.
Schritt 6: Now add the coriander, chilli, onion and lemon juice to the avocado mixture. Switch on the stickblender and mix the contents of the bowl again thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper, then fold in the tomatoes. Garnish with a little coriander and serve.
